CR1 is the softest from our range of cold reduced, this is ideal for manufacturing where deep drawings, pressings or even metal spinning are needed from the steel. Carbon variations in the metal determine the strength & quality of the steel. Standard fabrication and engineering often use CR4, which is more widely used referred to as DC 01.
